Developing BlackBerry Apps on Linux

It's a pity it's not easier to develop java apps for BlackBerry devices on Linux easily, but I'm going to give it a shot.

This webpage covers the topic well. My notes are:

• Editing build.xml from the example source lets you specify the location of the JDE files.
• I installed the JDE using VMware… which is ever so slightly easier than using Wine if you've got a VM handy.
• Headrev Barry has JavaLoader support which works pretty darn well (bJavaLoader)
